- The UMD Campus Map web application and systems support is a collaborative effort led by Facilities Management (FM) and the Division of Information Technology (DIT).
- Parking details are provided by the Department of Transportation Services (DOTS).
- GIS data and application development support is provided by graduate assistants and undergraduate interns from the Department of Geographical Sciences (DGS).
- This map application uses Esri ArcGIS for JavaScript API (version 3.33) and ArcGIS Server 10.8.1 map services hosted by the University of Maryland. Additional basemap services are provided by Esri and Google.
- Shuttle-UM and WMATA Bus and Rail schedule information is acquired through the NextBus Public XML Feed and the Metro Transparent Datasets API.
- For smartphone and tablet devices, the Campus Web Map will load a customized version of the Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS
- Not every layer featured in the map draws at all scales (zoom levels). The symbolization of these layers may also differ at various scales. This is intentional.
- Certain features may appear differently in different web browsers. Some features may not be fully supported by all browsers.
